"My Growth Rings"?

Hey, I'm Scott Markwood; husband of one, father of two and grandfather of NINE! 

For 15 years I worked for the woodworking power tool company Shopsmith as a retail store manager and as what they called an "Academy Instructor", or essentially a private shop teacher. Since 1999 I have been a Corporate Trainer in the woodworking industry and continue to work in my shop whenever I can. This site and my Youtube channel reflect my passion for woodworking, and particularly for tools, jigs & fixtures. 

I chose the name "My Growth Rings" for my Youtube channel name after thinking how our knowledge and experience grows over time, much like the rings of a tree.
